Booking a room at Val du Pech Chantant implies acceptance of the general conditions set out below.

2. Arrival time
Isabelle and Christophe JEAN (hereinafter referred to as "the owner") welcome their guests (hereinafter referred to as "the client") between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the day of their arrival. In case of late arrival, we ask our guests to notify us. In accordance with the regulations in force in certain countries, the customer may be asked, upon arrival, to fill out a police form. To do this, the customer will be asked to present an identity document in order to to check whether or not he must complete the police form.
3. Departure time
Departure is before 11:00 a.m.
4. Breakfast and table d'hôtes
Between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., breakfast is brought to the room or to the private terrace if weather conditions permit.
Dinner is served from 7:30 p.m. on our terrace or in our house. A packed lunch brought at 7:00 p.m. is offered to guests wishing to dine in their room.
5. Rates
The price includes overnight stay and breakfast for 2 people. The rate does not vary depending on whether the room is occupied by one or two people.
Dinner is offered every day upon request when booking your stay and only for guests occupying one of our guest rooms. This invoiced service is paid when paying the balance of your stay.
Our rates do not include cancellation insurance.
An invoice is given to the customer at the end of the stay. This invoice can be electronic and sent by email to the email address provided by the customer.
Our prices are in euros and include all taxes and tourist tax.
We offer a reduction in the price of the night from the 2nd night.
The ""Labo 715"" cosmetic workshop
By reservation and limited to a maximum of 4 people, the Cosmetic Workshop "Labo 715" offers you, over a session of approximately 2 hours, the manufacture of homemade cosmetic products. This service is billed per person. A decreasing rate is applied for a couple participating in the Workshop.
6. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers issued by Val du Pech Chantant and Labo 715 are valid for one year and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. They are not nominative. We cannot be held responsible in the event of loss or theft of these.
The stay or activity is carried out before the end date of validity of the voucher.
The customer confirms his reservation by sending the original gift voucher by post or email to the address of Val du Pech Chantant, 715 route du Pech 46170 PERN or Mail: le.val.du.pech.chantant@gmail.com.
Upon receipt of the reservation by Val du Pech Chantant, an acknowledgement of receipt by email is sent to the customer; the reservation date becomes final and cannot be changed.
7. Booking and cancellation conditions
1) Reservation:
Reservations by telephone or online are considered effective after payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay with a minimum of one night. The customer has 7 calendar days to pay this deposit. An acknowledgement of receipt by email is sent to the customer to confirm the reservation.
The reservation is made for a fixed period and does not give the right to remain on the premises beyond the term provided for at the time of reservation.
The balance due must be paid before the arrival date.
2) Cancellation:
The amount of the deposit paid when booking remains acquired by the owner if the customer cancels his stay more than 48 hours and less than 14 calendar days before the arrival date.
The full price of the stay is due if the customer cancels his stay less than 48 hours before the start of the stay or if the customer does not show up on the arrival day planned when booking.
If the cancellation occurs more than 14 calendar days before the arrival date, the owner will fully refund the deposit paid when booking.
The owner reserves the right to grant a modification of the dates of stay where possible.
Cancellation of the reservation must be notified in writing (by post or email) to Val du Pech Chantant, 715 route du Pech 46170 PERN or Email: le.val.du.pech.chantant@gmail.com
If the customer has not shown up before 7:30 p.m. on the scheduled start date of the stay, the owner reserves the right to dispose of the room and keep the deposit paid when booking.
In the event of a stay shortened by the customer, the full amount of nights reserved is due.
If the owner has to cancel the stay for reasons beyond his control (illness, bad weather, fire, etc.), the customer will be notified as soon as possible in writing (by post or email) and by telephone. The entire stay will be refunded.
The customer is reminded that he does not have the right of withdrawal provided for in article L221-18 of the Consumer Code in accordance with article L221-28 of the same code.
8. Method of payment
Payment is made in cash, by check (made payable to Isabelle JEAN and sent to Le Val du Pech Chantant 715 route du Pech 46170 PERN) and by transfer or credit card.
The customer provides their bank details as a guarantee of the reservation, except for special conditions or rates, by credit or private bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, etc. depending on the possibilities offered by the establishment's reservation platform) by indicating directly, in the area provided for this purpose (secure entry by SSL encryption), the card number, without spaces between the numbers, as well as its expiry date (it is specified that the bank card used must be valid at the time of consumption of the service) and the visual cryptogram. The establishment has chosen elloha.com/stripe.com in order to secure online payments by bank card. The validity of the customer's payment card is verified by stripe.com. The payment card may be refused for several reasons: stolen card, blocked card, limit reached, input error, etc. In the event of a problem, the customer must contact their bank on the one hand, and the establishment on the other hand, to confirm their reservation and payment method.
9. Tourist tax
The tourist tax of €0.98 per person per night is included in the price of the stay.
10. Animals
Pets are not allowed at Val du Pech Chantant.
11. Use of the premises
By accepting the general conditions of sale, the customer agrees to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and to preserve the tranquility of other people residing at Val du Pech Chantant.
The client undertakes not to invite any other person to the Val du Pech Chantant estate without prior authorization from the owners.
12. Opening days
The ""La bergerie"" room is available for reservation from March 1st to All Saints' Day. The ""Roulotte"" room is available for reservation from February 1st to November 30th.
Rooms are not wheelchair accessible.
13. Data Protection Act
The information and data collected by the Owner from the Customer are collected for the purpose of processing room reservations only.
They may be recorded in a customer file held by the owner.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the customer has the right to access, withdraw and rectify their personal data by contacting the owner using the contact details given in paragraph 1.
The customer may accept or refuse to receive subsequent commercial proposals from the owner of Val du Pech Chantant.
14. Respect for privacy
The customer is informed, on each of the personal data collection forms, of the mandatory or optional nature of the responses by the presence of an asterisk. The information processed is intended for the establishment, elloha.com, its entities, its partners, its service providers (and in particular online payment providers). The customer authorizes elloha.com to communicate his personal data to third parties on the condition that such communication is compatible with the performance of the operations incumbent on elloha.com under these general conditions and in connection with the Customer Charter for the protection of personal data. In particular when paying online, the customer's bank details must be transmitted by the payment provider stripe.com to the establishment's bank, for the execution of the reservation contract. The customer is informed that this transfer of data may therefore take place in foreign countries that do not have adequate protection of personal data within the meaning of the Data Protection Act. However, the customer consents to this transfer necessary for the execution of his reservation. Constellation SAS / Stripe.com in their professional capacity, have undertaken to the establishment to take all security measures and respect the confidentiality of data for said data transfers.
15. Proof agreement
Entering the required banking information, as well as accepting these general conditions and the voucher or reservation request, constitutes a
electronic signature which has, between the parties, the same value as a handwritten signature. The computerized records stored in the computer systems of elloha.com. will be kept under reasonable security conditions and considered as proof of communications, orders and payments between the parties. The customer is informed that his IP address is recorded at the time of booking.
16. Dispute
These general conditions of sale are exclusively governed by French law, however without precluding any mandatory protective provisions that may be applicable in the country of residence of consumers.
Any consumer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute with a professional. After having contacted the professional and in the absence of a satisfactory response or in the absence of a response within 60 days, the customer can contact the Tourism and Travel mediator free of charge, whose contact details and referral procedures are available on its website: www.mtv.travel
In the absence of an amicable settlement, the Cahors judicial court shall have jurisdiction.
